Breakspoll 2009 Lineup
Every year there is a prestigious awards ceremony for all the players inside the breakbeat arena; Breakspoll. This awards ceremony tips its hat to all the movers and shakers who in the last 12 months have helped push the breaks scene forward. It's a bit like the Oscars for breaks, but with out all the blubbing, nice dresses and equal boy to girl guest ratio!
Brap FM was nominated a few years ago, and as a DJ on the station, we're more than keen to get another nomination. As such, if you've tuned into any of the show's and liked what you heard, then please feel free to give us your vote!
Breakspoll 2009 Lineup
This year's Breakspoll has a refreshing line up, and features a hell of a lot of new breakbeat blood on the lineup. Artists to look out for include Diverted who are doing a live breaks show, and Stereo:Type who areapparently undertaking a five deck mash up and plan to play 180 tunes in an hour!
Tickets for Breakspoll sell out fast, and I'd recommend that you buy them quick, because with the line up outlined below, you'd normally have to be soaking wet, covered in mud and in the middle of a field to experience this level of breakbeat royalty! As for who I want to see, I've put an asterisk (*) next to the performers I want to see... expect some groundhog day-esque madness!
