Those of you who know me, know I love my iPhone! Even more than that, I am known to fire up Touch DJ and spin a few tunes while out and about. Well there’s a new piece of hardware out for the iPad that looks to blow this out the water. I’m not too sure on the faux records, as I prefer a waveform to look at. Needless to say, this looks promising!

Breakspoll winners NAPT’s killer tune  Make My Day originally by Technotronic has been given an even fresher reworking. This time featuring vocals from UK Grime MC Bashy. Normally I think that tunes don’t need a vocal once they break through but this one really works – I hope this one breaks through to the top 40!

Back in the 80s boomboxes were everywhere. I remember having a metallic red Grundig one that the speakers could detatch from. Back then I used to use it to listen to music on my Atari ST or Commodore C64… check out this wicked little documentary by someone that knows more about it than me
